Hello everyone
Since I seem to have resolved my constipation issue AGAIN....I have come to realize how important a food journal is. I actually went back to when my bm's were good to check and see what I was eating and what supplements I was taking...and voila, there was my answer. Since my health has improved, I have gotten little lazy about supplements and diet. So now I am going to print up a schedule for meals, snacks, supplementation and now chelation as well with hopes that will get me back on track and keep me there. I think I will attach it to my calendar so I have it near my appointments. I think Tia did this awhile back, so it was originally her idea....she actually posted her schedule but I couldn't find it. Just wanted to share....have a great weekend!!! Sandi |

What a good idea!!! I'm new at this, and find it a little daunting trying to remember what I should be doing!! I think I will divide it into routines and post it on my fridge!! Sometimes I get the water down pat only to realize I've slacked off on the Udo's. I consider myself to be "organizationally challeged" lately....and need little reminders. Too much on my mind I guess!! Thanks Karen |

Hey Sandi--I'm just curious--what supplement weren't you taking that ended up helping you out?
PS--Glad you've found relief--there's nothing worse!! |

Hi Ashley,
Nice to have you back, how did the move go? Crappy job, isn't it? For the constipation issue, I just went back to the basics that I used to do, from my old food journal and started taking FibreSmart by Renew Life in the morning. That is a supplement with flax seed, and a bunch of other natural herbs including some triphala....and it works great. I thought I would take a break from the psyllium for awhile. And I started drinking the lemon ginger drink first thing in the morning again, and eating my barley cereal with ground flax and hempseed hearts and I think the combination did the trick. I also take a magnesium at night with a big glass of water at bedtime...and I drink 2 or 3 big glasses first thing in the am. Takes some attention and scheduling, but well worth it. And above all no wheat, oats or dairy. Sandi This message has been edited. Last edited by: buddygirl, |

Great Sandi--it's always good to know exactly what works for people--it's funny how different we all are--we all have our own tricks when it comes to getting things going!!
I actually just finished my final presentation which is why I fell off the earth last week--I['m back!!! Talk to you soon! Ashley |

Hi Sandi,
I'm not familiar with the product you mention. I know that the company has a few decent products but I don't like some of them. I've steered away from them mostly because they are designed with either the "everything-but-the-kitchen-sink" sort of approach or they include additives so I don't trust all of their formulas. I stand behind the Attogram's psyllium as the best quality psyllium product I've ever found. Even long term use has proven to be very effective and very safe.Attogram Psyllium If you've been looking for a break from it for a short while I wonder if you've ever tried chia seed powder. I've been looking for some feedback on folks results with this but since I know it is not as bulking and cleansing/scrubbing as the Whole Approach psyllium product, I've not encouraged anyone here to try it. If you are taking a wee exploration away from the psyllium perhaps you'd like to try some of this. I imagine it would be available in Vancouver somewhere. If you do decide to try it, please do email me privately to let me know how it goes for you. Thanks Sandi. I'm glad to hear you're feeling an upswing in your health these days! Keep up the great work! TLC |
