Hi Tarilee,
I thought I would try what you do, and grind some quinoa to make a flour. But then I remembered that before cooking it, it needs to be rinsed/rubbed well to remove the resin. So what do you do about this factor, because if you get it wet to rinse it, it won't grind to flour...? Thanks, -joejoe |

Hi Joe Joe,
Sorry that I didn't think to mention this. You can rinse/scrub it with hot water and then dry it gently in the frying pan before grinding it. Try not to toast it as it will give it a strong flavour. Just stir it around on moderately low heat until it is dry enough to grind. Good for you and good luck! |
