Hi,

I'll be travelling for the holidays and just wanted to check if it's alright if my acidophilus goes without refrigeration for upwards of 12 hours?

Thanks,
Susan

Susan,
I'm sure Tarilee will address this question for you, but I am sure I have read that it would be okay. Some health stores even sell it "unrefridgerated!"

Thanks Jan! I leave tonight and will pack it up - but will also check to see if Tarilee says otherwise. Happy holidays...Susan

Hey guys--I think it's all right out of the fridge for 48-72 hours...because when they ship it that's how long it takes to get here...Have a nice trip by the way!

Leaving DDS out of the fridge for a few days merely shortens it's three day shelf life (shortens its expiry time).

Dont' worry about it as long as you are not storing it in the hot Southern sun or inside a warm car.

You'll use it up way before it comes anywhere close to expired.
