I am a 33 year old female and since September of this year have had a low grade fever accompanied with excessive sweating, hot flashes, and night sweats. I take Zoloft and Ortho Tri-Cyclen Birth Control pills, as well as Protonix for Reflux. I have always had excessive stomach acid problems, peptic ulcers, reflux, very bad heartburn, all my life. i also have terrible allergies, such as mold, pollen, dust, most trees and plants in Indiana, but no cats or dogs or food allergies that I am aware of. I always have at least four sinus infections a year as well as bronchitis at least once a year. I always get a cold every year and this year it took me 45 days to get over one. I have gone to docter after doctor and they really cannot help me. Please don't lauch--but a friend of mine referred me to a psychic and I went to her and after touching me and meditating on me she says I have Candida all throughout my body. After reading about it on the Internet, I have a lot of the symptoms. I have ordered what they call a "Yeast Busting Kit" and wonder if I use that along with not taking birth control pills, if that is at least a good start for me? I realize I need to change my diet, but should I be changing my diet before I even get rid of the yeast? Also, should I be stopping the birth control pills before I start the yeast busting kit? What is your opinion of the situation and am I just crazy for listening to a psychic? I have been to several doctors and have blood tests galore run and no one can find anything wong with me. Thank you very much!

Hi Cassandra ~ There is an awful lot of information on Candida Related Syndrome on this forum. If you think of a word like "sinusitis" and you want to find out more about it ~ just click on SEARCH on the forum home page and type it in - this will give you all the info in the archives on this subject.
It sounds from your statements like you have had candida related complex for many years. We have posted many times on this forum how candida related complex can actually make a person think they are crazy, or think they have bi-polar symptoms, etc. This can happen because candida related complex can effect EVERY body system in the body if left untreated. In other words, your endocrine system will be affected in that you will have strong PMS symptoms every month (cramping, irritability, bloating, etc.) and thyroid/adrenal problems, etc. The central nervous system will be affected in that you will have anxiety/insomnia, irritability, tendency to anger, fears, panic attacks, impending sense of doom, worry, depression, and loss of interest in normally enjoyable activities. Intellectual function will also be impaired - with trouble concentrating, trouble remembering, indecisiveness, and being fuzzy-or dull-headed. Dizziness is common, also vertigo or light-headedness, incoordination, blurry vision and trouble focusing. Fatigue, weakness and lack of endurance... Musculo-skeletal Symptoms - can be muscle soreness, tenderness, aching, stiffness, weakness, cramping, and easy fatigability. Acne is very common and frequently will continue well into middle age or may even begin then. Dry skin with seborrheic dermatitis, eczema and psoriasis ... Genito-Urinary Symptoms - can be vulvovaginitis, dysuria, frequency, irritable bladder, and urinary tract infections and dysmenorrhea... And the list goes on - but you get the idea. This is also why doctors will say that candidiasis is not 'really' an illness - and can attribute your depression and other ailments to other causes. Candida related complex CAN become very very severe - and people can truly become very sick... with no doctors having any answers. I was like this for years, and diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, lupus, and depression. I was put on lots of drugs that only made me WORSE. I then REALLY knew what it was to have panic attacks, chronic constipation, chronic insomnia, chronic NEGATIVITY... etc. It was not until I stopped looking for answers in doctors (I had seen 27 and had needless surgeries) and started to apply the Anti-Candida diet and this program that my life turned around. I am now whittling off my final drug - and am almost completely free of it... no antidepressants, no sleep aids, no pain meds... Just treat the ROOT CAUSE - candida in the COLON - which is what our products are all about ~ it won't be a 'magic pill'... you have to be willing to change your lifestyle. wendy Candida normally live in everyone's body, but are kept in balance by the natural friendly flora/bacteria. However, over time of eating a refined simple carbohydrate diet, taking drugs like the Pill, HRT treatment, antibiotics, corticosteroids (like prednisone, cortisone, etc.) and others... this good flora/bacteria gets wiped out - and the candida proliferate - soon taking control of the body and breeding strong communes. Candida are "pleomorphic" organisms which means that they can change forms in order to survive. Pleomorphism differs from mutation in that they can switch back and forth to the various forms in their species, whereas with mutation, organisms change and stay in that new form. If you have taken diflucan or monistat for vaginitis, you will find that over time they will not have the effect that they did in the beginning. This is because the candida will change to survive. This is why we have a complete program/protocol here, that is very thorough and has a good track record. If you go to the home page of this site and click on "comparisons" you will see how these products compare with other popular methods of dealing with candidiasis. |

Thanks Wendy. It sounds like you really have bene though it! Do you think I should just stopping taking the pill right now, or at least wait until it is time for my period? I know you cannot "tell" me what to do, but I appreciate your opinion. Also, until I start the cleaning of the colon, does it really matter what I eat? I am going to completely change my lkifestyle and diet but with not having the products yet I don't know that it will make a differne and was trying to sneak in a coupole of last minute potato chips, LOL! Thanks

Cassandra - for many people, it is extremely helpful to start the anti-candida diet as soon as possible. Die-off 'will' happen even as you only do the diet. The yeast will be craving their usual foods - and you 'could' get some headaches/dizziness, etc. I would get going on this as soon as possible... and then when you add these products you will be more settled.
Regarding the pill? I am not a doctor - but the pill does meet the 'metabolic needs' of candida albicans. So this is definitely something you need to seriously consider. wendy |
