Any one else been to numerous doctors only to be told "nothing is wrong with you". I have read 'SUNNYDAY'S post. I am excited to hear someone else with my problem. Maybe there is a treatment out there some where? I thought I might have been the only one.
This is my docs check list... 1.std 2.hiv 3.div (disquamitive imflamitory vaginitis) 4.yeast 5.allergy 6.all in my head 7.online yeast treatment "threelac" 8.douche... I feel made it worse, infact infect the rest of my body. ALL OF THESE TESTs AND TREATMENTS with negative results! 9.Treated for UTI (urineary track infection)I DID HAVE! 10. at a heavy metal, yeast specialist..... I'll see how that goes.... ANY ONE else with this problem? looking for others with the same problem, ginn |

Hi Ginn--I would do a search with "samplersharon" as the author. She has written a tremendous deal on the subject and is better able to give advice on it than almost anyone I know of. This section is filled with her posts and wisdom...
Are you currently on an anti-fungal program? Ashley |

Hi Ginno,
I also recommend that you have a look at the Success Stories in the Getting Started forum. It may give you hope. And yes, Sharon is our most knowledgeable resource about complex vaginal issues. She's a fabulous researcher! Many people who struggle with this need to do the Whole Approach program as we outline it here. A long lasting topical yeast issue is more often than not, indicative of a systemic yeast infestation. Have you explored our welcome page? Whole Approach welcome post Let me know if you've got questions about anything you read once you've had a chance to look over the large amounts of information available on the forum. Take good care, Tarilee |

I had the same problem! Along with an ugly discharge. Every doc I went to kept saying there was nothing wrong.
I was literally scratching myself bloody and raw. This had been going on for YEARS. I tried sesame oil, thinking it would help. Sometimes it helped soothe my skin but it really didn't stop the itch. One night I was researching online and I got the idea to add a little essential oil of eucalyptus to my sesame oil. I added one (1) drop of eucalyptus oil to about a teaspoon of sesame oil. I rubbed it all over my inner and outer labia and thank God, it worked. That was a few weeks ago and I haven't had any problems since and I'm praying I won't. My itch would go away for a few days after my period and it would come right back. Today is the last day of the first period I've had since my self-treatment so I'm really waiting to see what happens next. Good luck Ginn. Feel free to e-mail me. |

Hi Ari's Mom,
Are you familiar with these products (below)? Many folks find the following products to be of help individually or in combination. Also, the rec's for sitz baths in the Women's section's FAQ's might be useful? Kolorex should be used alone. Yeast Arrest should only be combined with Red Clover Salve or Vital Vulva. I'm sorry to hear of your prolonged discomfort. That sort of itch can be enough to test the strongest woman's sanity! Dermasoothe should only be used with Red Clover Salve or Vital Vulva. No, I've never used any of those products nor have I heard of them.
The sesame oil with a drop of eucalyptus worked for me. I'm two days out from the end of my period. This is (I believe) my third week of being itch-free. |

I have had an "unknown" vaginal itch, discharge, that looks yeast-like but consistently comes back negative for various strains of candida. This has been going on for 2 years now. However, I can say that I have had this issue before (10 years ago?), again after taking antibiotics, and it did eventually go away (diet, herbal supplements, herbal douches), though I have found that it came back for a visit occasionally, and I've got it bad now (again, after antibiotics).
It is frustrating because doctor's can't identify it. I have found that boric acid and tea tree oil work best for dealing with the symptoms (or rather, managing them). My question is whether Kolorex Intimate Care cream can be used inside the vagina. Thanks! |

Yes, Kolorex can be used inside but, like boric acid and tea tree oil, overuse can cause irritation for people with highly sensitive tissue.
I'll ask a few questions that you may already be asking yourself, but just in case they had not occurred to you, I'll check them out with you. Have you had a bacterial culture done? Are you using soap in this area (not a good idea.) Do you use only natural, phosphate, dioxin and fragrance free laundry detergents and sanitary/hygiene products? Could you be having a reaction to sexual intercourse or to barrier birth control methods? Do you use breathable 100% cotton underwear? Do you know if there are any foods that trigger the symptoms? Maybe one of these questions will trigger a revelation for you? I really hope so, for your sake. That's a long time to be itchy!!!! Good luck with your continued detective work! Tarilee |
