I tried doing a forum search on this and I have not found anything yet regarding this subject. (I kinda feel embarrassed to ask, but I need to be honest in order to get answers)

I have been doing laser hair removal for the past year, and I am still currently on it. With me being on the first stage of the Candida Treatment, do I need to "hold off" from doing the Laser Hair Removal Treatments? Does it affect the job of the P&B shakes and the DDS? I guess my last question is...does the Laser Hair Removal "feed" the yeast??

Any help or info would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much!

Hi Serenity

Don't be embarrassed. Most of us have made far more intimate confessions on here!

I'm afraid I don't know the answer to your question. However, for what it's worth, I would guess that laser treatment is not good for the body. I can't see how it would "feed the yeast" as such but it must compromise your body's ability to fight the problem.

Beauty over health can be such a toss-up, can't it? I'd only been on the diet for a few weeks when everyone started telling me how my skin was glowing and my eyes were sparkling but I'm still too vain to stop dying my hair, filling my system with toxins every couple of months!

Good luck with on your journey! wavey2

Hi Serenity,

I don't have an answer either, but the subject caught my eye, because it was something I was thinking about doing - sometime - and I never even thought about how it might affect the yeast. That was a great question.

I, too, have gotten lots of compliments on how great I look since starting this new way of eating. I'm sure I looked pretty tired and haggard before, when I never got much sleep and the toxins were trying to get out of my system thru my skin. I was afraid lazer treatments would aggravate my acne. I'm still too vain to do the natural hair thing, too. That would be too scary!!

Sorry about missing this post. It was accidental.

I know of no connection between laser and yeast.

Cheers,

Hi! I'm undergoing a candida cleanse and doing laser hair removal as well, and I don't think there is any connection. Smile my herablist who diagnosed me with candida knows I'm doing laser hair removal (and laser tattoo removal) and hasn't said anything either. so rest assured!
