So if anyone recalls...I've posted a few times about severe menstrual problems. I tried Vitex and other herbs(only made me worse) and painkillers help but I don't exactly like the idea of loading up on drugs one week out of every month. So I read on a site that using a menstrual cup results in happier, healthier periods for some women. and I thought it made sense considering it gets my body away from chemical laden pads and tampons, but I was a little skeptical. But now, after trying it...I will NEVER go back! The first day of my period I was miserable...horrid cramps, bloating, stomach upset, bad mood,headache,etc...that night I used the cup and for the last few days since then have had NO PROBLEMS. Just a little fatigue, which is all I used to have until the last 8 or 9 months. So, hopefully it isn't a fluke, and I 'll let you all know how it goes next month if you like. But in the meantime I definietly reccomend the Moon Cup to any of you who are suffering with bad periods.
Best wishes to everyone!

Hi SS,

I've used the cup (diva or moon or keeper) for years. I agree that getting away from all the chemicals is beautiful as is reducing the garbage!

I have not found that it makes any impact on my normal level of discomfort however. I hope that for whatever reason they say that it sometimes works, it WILL CONTINUE TO WORK for you!!!!

Thanks for sharing!
