I just made these today- my chidren and I give them 2 thumbs up! You can use any combination of nuts/seeds (make sure they are soaked over night and then dried!). I used macadamia nuts and filberts- YUM!
*3-3.5 cups of nuts *3/4-1 cup of ghee/butter/coconut oil (I used ghee but you could use any combination that works for you)- melted *stevia/cinnamon *dash of sea salt optional flavorings:veg. glycerin, vanilla, etc. Put nuts into the food processor and process until smooth. Add a dash of sea salt, cinnamon and stevia to taste (I added a touch of glycerin but it is not necessary)- you could also add vanilla and or any other flavors you enjoy (I have not tried it with cocoa yet, but knowing me, it will be done!). Melt butter/oil and pour into the nut mixture. Scrape into an 8 x 8 pan and put in the fridge to harden. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Tarilee, |

I wanted to share that I chopped up the uneaten pieces into cute little squares and put them in the freezer- they are delicious this way! Little candies! Yum! They would also be great with coconut....
They are fudge like in consistency but taste like brown sugar to me |

Almonds should be great in this recipe. Hope they turn out well.
