Hello,
have not been here for a while and would like to catch up Wink
I have got couple of questions if someone could help...?
1. Have been on oil of oregano for almost three month (dose of 6 drops per day at the mo) and there's no more die off/side effects for about 4 weeks now.(togehter with the oregano Im taking probiotics, multivitamins and spirulina mix) Is it time to stop the oregano and try something else? What is the maximum dose..?

2.Shall I start SBX as well? If so should I expect some more die off?

3. Just recently (on holiday) got tempted and had a coffee and there was no reaction to it whatsoever, no headache, no jittery feeling. That spurred me on and I tried a croissant - again no effect. Does this mean I am on a way to recovery or is it just a sick way of Candida trying to catch me out..?

All in all most of my CRC is gone and Im thinking - too good to be true..? I started the program 10months ago.

Thanks for your input notworthy

Hi Sim,

Welcome back! Tarilee can answer your questions on what to take next, but I thought I'd share my experience.

I was feeling sooooo good after 18 months. Started to add more foods in. Felt Ok. Then added more. Not good food combining. Now I feel awful more often than not. Sever stomach bloating. Craving treats. Guess I should start back at stage 1, but it's hard.

That's just been my experience. Take it for what it's worth.

Hopefully for you it's gone for good!

Hi Gay,
thanks for your response, Im taking it on board and sticking to my usual diet just in case (frankly, I got so used to eating this way that keeping away from carbs and breads etc is not too bad) It would be nice thou knowing that the occasional 'slip' will not send me off the edge bouncemulti

Hi there Sim,

Welcome back. It sounds like you've been finding some improvement and that sounds great. As for the protocol you want to follow, have you seen our instructions for the diet stages and the anti-fungal phases?

I'll include our link to the Welcome post in case you haven't yet had a chance to review the instructions there.

We do use oreganum for a phase II alternative to grapefruit seed extract (GSE) and if you are doing this then the protocol would suggest that you stay on it for three full months and then move to phase III.

Check this out if you haven't already and do let me know if you've got further questions.

I've found that I can tolerate the odd deviance from the diet pretty well but the problems start sometimes a few weeks later if I've had a general slacking of my diet.

So i've found it really hard to know whether I'm better or just able to tolerate more foods for longer before the same old symptoms come back.

I think caution is the main thing... but keep us updated on your progress, I'd love to hear a success story Smile

Yes Gracerina, so would I lol. The thing is, its harder to resist the odd treat when you know there's no immediate consequences! I hope I dont slip too low....
Will keep you posted
P.S. at least Im keeping the depression at bay so far! banana

HI Tarilee,
thanks, yes I am familiar with the program. I just wondered if there is a maximum dose of the oreganum as the die off seemed to stop after 3 drops/day. I upped to 6 and still no further reaction. So I just wanted to know If that's normal or If maybe I should rotate the products before the 3 months period is up.
I now started to take SBX and I've got slight irritability going on Big Grin and some changes to the bowel movements (as in its not moving that well..lol) Unsure

Hi Sim,

Here's the link to the instructions for using Oreganum as an alternate phase II product.

http://wholeapproachforums.com...1609395/m/4591042012

These instructions recommend up to ten drops per day.

You might want to slowly increase your dosage, as long as you feel well with it, and see what happens with your candida response.

When taking SBX make sure you're definitely having your fibre (purge) drink each day and drink loads of clean water.

Take care,

Tarilee

True, it's the mood related reactions that are tricky! Can be so hard to pin them down. I def noticed a difference when I went through a rough patch with my diet a few months ago... it seemed to affect my hormones like crazy and I had the worst PMS ever!

Tightening up on my diet has made a big difference. Still hard to not slip up now and again tho esp as you say, the consequences aren't immediate!

Am becoming more disciplined again tho Smile
