Hi All - I'm still doing well with the diet, but because I'm also dealing with adrenal issues, am having to go very slowly with the caproyl (can't handle much dieoff) so I'm still just at 1/4 tsp/day. It's been almost 2 months now. Am I doing myself any good at all at that small a dose. Every time I try and increase I get knocked flat and I need to be careful with my adrenals. Any input greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi CathyB,

I'm also struggling to increase the Caproyl on phase 1. I'm at .25 tsp twice daily and don't seem to be able to increase beyond that after about a month.

What do you mean when you say "I get knocked flat"? What are the symptoms?

How do you know you have adrenal issues?

Thanks.

Hi BirdDog - been working with a Naturopath quite some time and know I have adrenal fatigue issues - been tested for it. Knocked flat I mean beyond fatigued..........it has to do with the adrenals.

Thanks for the post - glad to know others are trudging along with me! At least you are at 1/4 tsp twice per day!!! Good for you.

Are you still struggling with the anxiety/depression issues as well as fatigue? I'm not wiped out with fatigue, but when I try .5 tsp of Caproyl, after a few days I feel depression/anxiety, with sinus pressure/pain, red/dry eyes, coating on my tongue, sensitivity to smell, and a bitter taste in my mouth.

I can deal with the other physical symptoms, but the depression/anxiety is tough to deal with on a daily basis. If I stop the caproyl for a few days, I seem to normalize.

Also, I'm up to 2 of the DDS capsules twice daily. Seems like when we last were in touch, I suspected the DDS as the cause of the anxiety, but I'm not so sure that's the case any more, unless it's contributing to die off.

Are you tolerating the DDS any better?

Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Well, some days the depression is there, some days it isn't! I'm having a hard time figuring out what is causing what - so am working on accepting it all!

Hi Cathy,

That sounds very challenging. When energy and mood drop, we are forced to slow down so we are also forced to learn how to balance our needs for healing with the other demands on our time. These symptoms can also demand emotional healing. None of it is easy. There's no reason to rush on the dosage though. Low dose, if it's just low enough to prevent die off symptoms, is a good dose for you. Everyone is different.

Are you using any herbal supports for your adrenal glands? Vitanica herbs that produces some amazing products, has a great adrenal formula. We've considered bringing it to the store here since so many folks with pathogen-related toxicity issues seem to be susceptible to adrenal problems. We may do a poll about types of products people need. If you could let me know if you're in need of such a product, and if so, we might start the conversation between Linda and I, and between myself and our other members.

Thanks!

Tarilee

Hi Tarilee,
Yes, my naturopath has me on supplements for the adrenals. She figures the last piece of the puzzle, so to speak, is dealing with the candida, which also drains the adrenal glands. At this point, I don't think I'm in need of any adrenal products, but if that changes, I'll let you know. Thanks again.

Hi Mary,

I'm so glad that this is being addressed. It make a huge difference to our well being when our adrenal glands are drained. Good luck with this!
